Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new. God has done it all! He sent Christ to make peace between himself and us, and he has given us the work of making peace between himself and others.
What we mean is that God was in Christ, offering peace and forgiveness to the people of this world. And he has given us the work of sharing his message about peace.
We were sent to speak for Christ, and God is begging you to listen to our message. We speak for Christ and sincerely ask you to make peace with God. Christ never sinned! But God treated him as a sinner, so that Christ could make us acceptable to God.

New Life

Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it!
All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing.
We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you.
How? you say. In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God.

Real Love

Love is more important than all spiritual gifts exercised within the church body. Love makes our actions and gifts useful and love is available to all. Society confuses lust with love. God’s kind of love is directed outwardly toward others…not ourselves. It must be unselfish – giving love expecting nothing in return, which is not natural for us. This is God’s kind of love. The closer we get to God, the more unselfish we become in loving others. I Corinthians 13: 1-8
